It is one year since the Abbott Coalition Government was sworn in.
Senator Michael Ronaldson is the Special Minister of State in the federal Coalition government.

Although he has asked the Joint Standing Committee to look at improving the integrity of the Electoral Roll and requiring that voters should provide ID, we have seen nothing achieved as yet.
However his desire for more electronic voting makes us uneasy, because we are aware of what computer hackers have done in the past.
And the current voting systems are full of loopholes and problems.
We say that those loopholes and problems should be fixed first, otherwise computerisation will only make things worse.
